I’ve loved sewing and creating for as long as I can remember. There’s something deeply grounding and mindful about the process for me: slowing down, choosing each fabric with intention, and letting forgotten materials find their way into something new.
Most of the fabrics I use come from estate sales, thrift stores, and the special pieces gifted to me by friends, family, and local businesses. I’m always searching for textiles with history — vintage prints, worn denim, unused remnants — the kinds of materials that hold stories and just need a little love. Upcycling these items and restoring them to a new purpose is one of my greatest joys.
A Patched Life is built on the belief that creativity can be both artful and thoughtful. By giving new life to old fabrics, I honor their past while creating something meaningful for the future. Each bag, accessory, and handmade piece is a blend of mindfulness, sustainability, and heartfelt design.
